Default anyone from rainham dagenham area?

looking just to borrow quickly a newage idle control valve just to check if mine is faulty as my car is running badly
only takes 2 mins to take out and check

tried giving it a clean frayz. how do you strip it all??

i'll probably have it sorted hopefully by thurs dan, if not i'll send you a message

Unplug the ISCV and remove the valve as an assembly.
Then carefully unscrew the drive motor from the side and remove it. You will now be able to crean and spin the roller barel style valve until it spins freely. Usually these get carboned up and sticky. Once its freespinning, replace the motor in the correct orientation and refit. Also be careful to get the ruber gasket seated properly before screing it down tight to the manifold.

given it a clean, spins freely. ive tried a few things, fuel pump, alarm. think i need a new idle control valve or ECU problem

i want to try one first before i get one from breakers

Sorry, only just seen this. Visiting my grandparents in Dagenham but come in the wife's car. If I had seen this I would have used the Scooby! Will be passing this way about 5ish tomorrow though?

Knackered lambda sensor can also cause poor idle and over fueling......

lambda/o2 sensor was replaced not long ago. (could still be i know)
anyone around?? just want to eliminate what could be wrong before i buy new parts

thanks mate, just checking a few more things before i have to take it to garage and get it looked at
spoke to dunce racedynamix said it might be cam or crank sensor possibly
