Default What Battery?

Now that winters well and truely here, if i dont start my car for a day or 2 i get the alarm chirping at me when it fires up. I guess the battery is on its last legs so what are your recommendations?

A quick searches finds Frayz metioning the 680 Odyssey for lightness. This one any good? Or any others?

Ta muchly

Dan

Dan, 680 is great if you keep it plugged into a battery conditioner. Any more than a week or 2 on a road car with alarm and its going to die. My recomendation would be a good quality stock size battery like an Optima or similar.
My 680 is fine, but then my car isnt a daily whip.

Cheers Frayz

Don't use mine too much now - only 1,600 miles in the last 6 months

Dont know if i could keep the 680 on trickle charge so was looking at something like the below. Seems quite reasonably priced?

I've just had to replace my one - needed one straight away, so had to go to halfrauds - got one from there.

Receipt calls it-: HAL BATTERY-B HCB005 - which is the higher capacity version, but it did cost £94.99!
