A12 - be careful
http://www.heart.co.uk/essex/news/lo...ks-thrown-a12/
Two people have been injured after blocks of concrete were dropped from bridges on to cars on the A12.
There were two separate incidents near Chelmsford last night (Thursday December 1st).
A woman passenger suffered multiple rib and facial fractures when a block smashed through the windscreen of a car passing under the West Hanningfield Road bridge shortly after 10pm. The driver of the car suffered cuts.
In the other incident, under Fryerning Lane bridge at about 9.25pm, a block of concrete smashed the windscreen of a car, leaving the driver and passenger unharmed but badly shaken.
Detectives are linking both incidents and treating both as attempted murder.
Both bridges have been taped off while forensic investigations continue.
Anyone who saw any vehicles or pedestrians acting suspiciously on the bridges at the times of the incidents should contact the serious crime team at Braintree police station on 101.

This happened to me a few years ago on the A13, managed to swerve and avoid a brick, scared the s**t of me at the time. Even now I still look when people are standing around in the middle of bridges over the motorways etc.

Problem is this was at 10pm, it was very dark and rainy and I don't think you'd even see someone on a small bridge.
Assuming you are travelling at 70mph into the bucket of concrete and the fact that it's traveling downwards too makes me feel sick someone would even consider doing this
