I used to organise rolling roads days and mainly went to Engine Advantages in Witham but I think they went under.

There's Torque Developments near Ikea in Lakeside

rich from fb tuning would come to you i believe mate if you pay his petrol and could finish a road map off on the dyno then you'd have power graph of new power to

But are they any good? Was thinking about popping mine in there for a health check/power run.

Wat sort of money should we be paying for a power run / readout. Torque developments want 150, didn't think that was to bad as I know there good and been around since I had my r5 gt turbo back in the early ninetys

Torque developments actually remove the wheels and use a dyno attached to the hub. Generally a power run is 30 - 50 quid elsewhere. So you decide.

Don't next door to TDi have normal rollers and charge about £30 ? I am sure Wongy used them before AMD rings a bell ?

Yeah AMD is next door, wasn't aware of them having a 4WD RR though. It was/is a VW/VAG specialist

I didn't know that. I sneak a look up there every now and then, but sometimes get the jap hating look from the VW gang.
You never know, maybe thats for testing brakes also, for MOT's.
They don't actually say 4WD, and that would be a selling point: http://www.amdtuning.com/rolling.road.cfm

EDIT: mentions 4WD RR at the bootom of this page: http://www.amdessex.com/

Yep defo 4WD, I've had mine on. Alot of us found that the power figures came out fairly high compare to others though and they didn't connect up to provide a boost graph. I would always go back to SRR in future.

Went to AMD in thurrock on saturday, right bang next door to torque developments, AMD do have the 4 wheel drive rolling road and it was £60 plus the vat, T.D. wanted £150 but they actually take your wheels off and do it via your hub so no loss of traction on the rollers, car came back pretty standard bhp @ 270, loads of advice given in there tho by the guy who did the RR, definetly recommend them

Just to add, AMD was busy as f*$k, didnt see one person go into T.D. though.
