Default Stolen Tommi Mak - Harlow

Hi Guys,

Hope you dont mind me posting this on your forum but a member from the MLR had his Red Tommi Mak reg no. V945 NEX stolen from Harlow at 5am this morning.

If you wouldnt mind keeping an eye out for it and letting either the police know or posting up if you see it that would be great.

Cheers

Lee

Saw a red Evo at The Range this afternoon, but then realised it wasn't this one....... will keep on looking out for it though. Now got the Reg Number and Harlow Police's phone number stored on my phone just in case....

Hope you get it back in one piece.....

Sorry did i read right. i spend £130 a year for a device only for the police to say they will not take any action.

would anyone like explain more ?

does having a tracker on these motors now still lower your insurance or are they no longer required by insurers?

Paid for a lifetime subscription on mine when I got my current STI, now I' m not far away in starting my 5th year with it, financially it was the right call on this!

Sorry Looie i disagree. I also have tracker - Moley said it doesnt make a difference to the insurance premium whether its subscribed or not. When mine was stolen over 3 years ago, i phoned the tracker people and said i would like to subcribe - certainly Sir that'll be £200 or whatever it was for the year. Then in the next breath i said my cars just been stolen so can i activate it so it can be recovered. Again certainly Sir

After the year was up, i got the renewal letter through stated x amount of hundred pound for the year or lifetime for IIRC about £450. I declined. If i ever need to activate it again i'll just repeat the above. If i never have to claim, i just saved myself the money

At the time I got my current STI - I wasn't with Moley, but the Ins Co I was with at that time, wouldn't insure it without an activated tracker in place....... for me (at that time) it was no option....... wouldn't do it again, now I know Moley!

Not sure what my one is worth now TBH, but at the end of this year I might find out.... only 'cos I had already decided that the end of 2011 would be the right time for changing it for a new model......... as to what, I will see what's around and what deals are on offer at that time........ FQ300 tempts me, as does a 2nd hand Scooby Cossie (if any are around then of course)... who knows...
