Last year I went to this for the first time and was blown away with the variety of cars at this show……… but no Scoobies…..

Lots of other Car Clubs were there, although most of them were for “Old Cars”, there was a selection of “Modern Cars” spread around and during the event I found the organiser who confirmed he would have no problem if we had some cars there, in fact he welcomed it to expand the variety of car makes for people to look at.

I remember he said that 10 cars max would be our limit due to the space limitations of the village green it’s all on (it is a BIG green however)….

I’ve just received the email from him asking if we would like to register and bring some cars along for the day – before I do that, bearing in mind we don’t have that many members who have Scoobies any more……. Who would be interested in promoting the club for a day…. ???

Luckly the paint work is pretty clean, just need a new front bumper and it will be ok. then a very good clean wont hurt either.

Other Info that may be of interest:

For the public:
Show opens 11am to 4.30pm and is free admission for all.

For the cars/clubs:
There will be prizes in different catagories, but TBH those will mainly be for the "Classic Cars", so I doubt that a Scoob will qualify!

BBQ's are not permittted on The Green (a fire hazard I guess), but there is a Beer Stand , a proper BBQ stand and if I remember correctly from last year, some other trade stands (mainly relating to ways of keeping your cars clean).... (Stu would love those ones...)

The "Arena" does show off a few cars to the public, so you never know - we "might" get one in the ring....

Obviously we would need to be in place for when the show opens, so I assume we would need to be there for 10.30am-10.45am.....

I have found an alternative....
Rather than drill my boot or pay someone silly money to do it, im trying to find a boot which has already had one fitted! that way i can bolt mine straight down too itas the holes will already be there!

Im hoping to get it done in time any ways!
