as above guys im in need of a box and diff for my93wrx preferably a 4-1 ratio but aslong as they match im happy need a set so if anyone has got or knows someone selling give me a shout please my poor old scoob aint well lol

have you weighed up the cost of a rebuild? (speaking from experience) second hand boxes are not always what they seem, i ended up fitting 2 gearboxes after the first one died.

Hi mate i have considered it my pals brother rebuilds them and he is pukka but im pretty sure the wrong diff has been put on before i bought it and is knackered,so im gonna try to get a matching set then i would go for a rebuild if it went again will get my pal to check it out before i fit it just incase though

Yeah box is correct, so needs a 4.1 IIRC

Diffs are pretty cheap can you not replace that first or is your box fubard ?

box has had it barely changes gear and its making a noise took it up the garage and they said its gearbox noise so took it to my scooby man andy and he said the same and just drive it until it goes then get a matching box and diff the idiot i got it of even had wrong size tyres on the old girl think diff been wound up so im thinking easier to change the lot all new mounts bushes etc probably a new clutch as im there banks not gonna like me this month lol
