just had my car written off...
as some of you may be aware through FB someone crashed into sarah on sunday. Anyway had a phone call about 10mins ago, "mr Spall you car is beyond economical repair". feel a bit sad really never had a car written off before. So may be back in a scoob sooner than i thought (just dont tell Sarah)

OMG.......
First I had heard of this... not on FB so probably that's why...
Hope Sarah is OK, that's the most important part, the car is just metal and easily replaced......... even if the replacement might be a scoob...

lol stu. cheers guys so lucky Bobby wasnt in the car as it could have been worse, also very glad sarah just got a few bumps and sores, could also have been a lot worse.

Glad Sarah is ok mate, haven't been on FB book for ages and didn't know.
Shame about the 'bike lugger' was a lovely car, but maybe time for a wagon.......ABW styleeeee

thanks for the well wishes another scoob is out the question really at the moment want something people carrier size but we will see.
not a bad result as what they offered me was more than i had my scoob up for sale 1 1/2 years ago

had a copy of the engineers report turn up today total repair cost 7k!!! no wonder they were happy to write her off.
some of the things that needed replacing:
roof air bags
seat air bag
rear axle
osr suspension
nsr suspension
wheels
tyres
and a few other parts.....

Glad they wrote it off - as it would never have been the same car again, even after the repairs, and more importantly everyone was okay!
And new car shopping is fun!!
