Default The stig AKA Kevd Quali & race.

Kevd`s racing at Brands today. He has just had a disastrous qualifying session where he only managed a few laps before glancing at the sat nav and the momentary glance down resulted in a visit to the Kitty litter where he stayed for most of the session.
But even though he only managed approx. 5 laps he still out qualified 4 other drivers.
Good luck for the race Kev starting 41st out of 45 you are hopefully going to be very busy passing cars

Race start at approx 1.00pm

The 1st race was interrupted by a safety car period. As the race was only 15 mins long and each lap took about 1:48 it unfortunately meant that Kev didn't get much more racing experience of the GP circuit.

Still, he looked like he was enjoying himself and that's the main thing

When you stop enjoying the racing win or lose that`s the time to throw the towel in.

2nd race had no such interuptions, and Kev looked to have a good race, started on the 16th row of the grid and finished about 20th.

Pics to follow.

Well done Kev
He tells me the handling was sorted out properly in the pits between race 1 and race 2. The new engine was checked post race by the scrutineers and was producing good legal horsepower
So he`s looking forward to improoving the qualifying performance at Snetterton ( a track he loves ) and move forward from there.
Well done Kev and we hope to be there for the next performance.
I reckon a top ten finish is just around the corner.
