help needed fitting discs and pads in colchester
hi all iv just bought some discs and pads for the wr1 ,ans was going to have a go at fitting them my self . but then i though oh crap i aint got any tools ,, so just wonderd if any one in colchester or close has the right stuff to fit ,also knows how as iv never done it before , just trying to save a few quid as funds are tight at the mo
if any one could help it would be nice

They are easy TBH Stu, You will have to remove the caliper for a moment to remove the old disc but this takes seconds and doesnt require the hose to be disconnected. The worst bit is pushing the pistons back into the caliper for the new pads to fit.

Stu, I did mine on my STI last year , as said above it's not too hard , changing the pads is very simple , the disc bit took me a little longer than before on my WRX if I remember correctly. To get the disc off you need to remove the caliper (don't let it dangle on the brake pipes remember), but then you are left with the back bit of the caliper still attached , the nuts on this wouldn't budge , then I realised that the discs will slide out with a bit of wiggling without removing the back bit (Doh!!), obvious after the event I guess. If the discs are stuck on , screw a bolt into the threaded hole on the disc and they pop off no problem.
