Newbie saying hi....
Hi all,
Thought i would say hi to everyone, as i now have my first scooby. Red classic shape. Have seen quite a few around the Basildon and Wickford area, all seem to say hi when we pass, which is quite nice to see.. Might be up southend on Sat tho not too sure at the mo as i have man flu! If any of you guys on here have seen me around come say hi....

lol...oki poki will keep a look out for ya! dont think your gonna miss me as ive not seen any other red classic shapes around here! thats reminds me of a st170 focus trying to race me the other day lol...

i'm a little further along the a13 from basildon, benfleet, but yes still havent seen many red classics around our way....come to think of it dont see that many scoobs this way anymore!!! there were a few round my way but they are all starting to dissapear!

use to drive mine along there, as i drive into London, until i sold it 4/5 months ago.
used to 3 or 4 a week going into London quiet regulary, but now that's down to the odd 1 or now every now and again.

Well i wasnt susposed to get a Scooby, as my partner was pregnant, but we lost the baby back in October and i always wanted a Scooby so went and got one, tho she does now have more respect at work! lol

sorry to hear about the first part mate.
i had 2 scoobs over 7 years but had to get rid of the last one as my other half is 11 years younger than me and once our son came along, 17 months ago, went to get her insured on the scoob and i was being quoted thousands!!!!! so had to let it go and get a car i could insure the missus on. Astra is a 2l turbo but insurance is only 500 so a BIG difference. I will be back in a scoob 1 day though. Scoobs are in my blood! lol

I use the A13 everyday from Stanford to the M25. Although doing shifts I am either on there at 5.45am, 8.15am or 1.45 pm. Normally see a silver hawkeye wrx when I am on days, and sometimes see L.J.F when on earlies. I will keep an eye out for a red classic. My mate owns a red blob eye wrx in Stanford too, although I don't see it on the road very often?

How many scoob's do you normally get on these days? im trying to get me mate down the road to come as well in his classic, but cant get hold of him at the mo...

In the summer, you could easily get 40odd cars on the posers cruise. When it is cold, wet and miserable only the hardcore turn up! Should be 15/20 tonight hopefully, it has been warm and sunny today so some might get a few more out of winter hibernation!
