Went and started car this morn and left it to warm up on the TT for 10 mins. went out about 20 mins later and was blue smoke up the rev range and then stoppped.

obviously its oil but whats causing it??

Doesnt sound good fella. Checked to make sure there's no oil in your water and vice versa? May just be something as simple as a blocked breather though.

tis weird eh.. it has done it before a couple of months ago and not done it since. hoping its somthing minor as me the wife n kids have a 80 mile trip home this afternoon!! lol

take it easy and try and keep off boost. might be worth getting the guys at Mr C, Xtreme or Mocom to give it the once over just to be sure.

Leak down test which show but i reckon your heads need to come off and inspection.

update:

just driven it from my inlaws to my mums (3miles) and no smoke to be seen from the exhaust.

over took some bint in a pug on the way and got to my mums to find oil burning smoke comming from the turbo area. under the turbo to be more direct. let it cool down and took it for a gental off boost drive and no more smoke. i have noticed a bit of oil`y wet down the side of the lump from the top of the rocker but not massivly wet (if that makes sence).

oil level is fine and its not dripping any oil!

im confussed and got a 80 mile drive home, just concerned as oil and hot turbos is a bit of a fire hazard.

confussed :S any ideas?

Have you got oil/smoke coming from your turbo? Turbo made be fooked
