Please jj that would be blinding Oily smoke has turned out to be a grove cut thru the bore of pot 1 from a broken gudgeon pin retaining clip that popeed out. Seroiusly jarred off mate Also to top it off something also went the way of the dodo as the cam cap bolts sheared in the head on the left bank and possible banjaxed the cam and all the lifters on the inlet side so need to sort summit or there may be another early wrx being broken.................
