Default Massa in intensive care!

Only caught the end of qualifying, but heard Massa had a big off. Just seen he has had surgery and his injuries are life threatening. Currently in intensive care on a ventilater.

Spooky how 2 similar accidents happen within a week. Let`s hope the second one has a better outcome than the first.

In F1 there are normally things that rarely happen, but then will happen 2 or 3 times in quick succession. When Senna was killed, another driver died at the same time, no-one remembers him though (Ratzenburger!). Coincidence seems to happen a lot in motorsport.

Now back in 'induced coma' for 48 hours - doesn't look or sound good - sounds like life support is keeping him going.....

Just read this & seen that Massa's wife is pregnant with their first child. Words can't describe.

Thoughts also with Rubens Barrichello, who has always come across as a nice chap - must be feeling pretty bad himself!
