Supposed to be, i sold few bits to get it booked in, as needs sorting,
However just as much to do the oil leak.
see if get mapped which it needs, it wont cure oil leak which is caked on the timing belt,
It appears apparently the water pump may have been changed quite recently, and something to d with a bolt and oil pump seal, i dont know tbh.
I spent quite allot on it already, nigly usual bits, complete new earthing etc,, the cam belt cover is falling to bits, which i did notice when got it, but not sure that was important, i not a mechanic, its been at good old m clutch for 3 days, poor guys, they been so helpful, problem is the seals to change and gaskets come to under 50 quid, but to get to them need new timing belt and kit, few hundred in total,
im at me whits end TBH, if i not changed the headers it wouldnt av been so noticable as the oil was collecting in the original headers heat shield, and just burns off into atmosphere, but now theres no heat shield it drips onto the floor,
So far in breaking for spares i been offered 2k but not really the route i want to go into i think,
I do so much travelling, and as Evilsti grahame and e6tony will tell you by the pictures i took i need this type of vehicle, did have a STI however had a V LTD RA box and not the finance to change the box,
Dunno what to do

Well wouldnt say trouble, just when cold it holds back, when doing a quik gear change which i never did in my previous car it cuts out for split second, thats it really, was told that a re map would cure that, hence the reason last 2 and half weeks iv posted up im hetting a re map, i resourced money for the re map,now i gotta make tough decision re map or oil sills, if no re map, holds back when cold like driving into the wind on and off, if i did want to push it, when going into next gear it cuts out for split second, if i drive it normalish its fine, "those that know me know how i drive"
Im trying to raise some funds to get it fixed by next 13 days or have to break it, ive started selling few bits on forum,

do the oil seal mate.. my crank oil seal was leaking and got worse and worse... it eventualy **** its self about half a mile away Mr cluch Chelmsford. and mate, either your re-map is cheap or your being mugged off to get that crank oil seal sorted! Go see tony or Graham up Mr clutch they will sort it for ya chap.
i think its pointless mapping a leaking engine mate, oil pressure will be down n every thing. my car ran so much better when it was not pissing oil over the place! If ya not going to sort it dude, sell me ya bits!! lol

If it's any consolation, I've taken the front driver side wheel off to investigate a knocking noise coming from there and found the droplink needs replacing (which is the cause of the knocking when braking, going over speed humps etc), anti roll bar bushes are on their way out, the driveshaft CV gaitor has split in 2 and the front suspension strut has gone and is leaking oil.

Yes Mr cluth have been great they had the car a few days, just checking things =over,
I took car to A traffick inspectorate office today, Its only silly things thats gotta be done but expensive, over £500 ill post the list up later, 2 rocker cover nuts missing the spacers that sepaerate the cam shaft cover to the block not there thats why the Timing belt has been rubbing against the cover and melted it, plus cam oil seals,
Just one of those things,
EXPENSIVE
