Default Tyres

Right, got that horrible time come up again, where all 4 tyres need replacing.

I was going to go for another set of Toyo T1R's, but know a few peeps on here have been using the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's, which only work out £1 more each than the T1R's

What do you think of them?
Do they wear quickly?
Anyone gone from T1R's to the Vredestein's?

I have the T1R's on the classic and they are awesome. I have the Vredesteins on the SpecD and they are awesome. Hope that helps.

If I had both in front of me I would choose the Vreddy's for looks and the tyre wall which is chunkier and wider and covers your rims better. Performance wise I would love to try the Vreddy's on the classic and probably will on my next set of wheels.

I have T1Rs & have been thinking of trying the Vredesteins when they need changing. Rim protection is always an added benefit as well.

Not tried the Vreddys but always found the Toyos to be good in wet and dry but suffer from flexi sidewalls a bit much. Even the T1R's

You won't regret it - since I had my ones from Zak, I really notice the difference when I put the RE050's back on and TBH I'm glad to put the Vreddies back on ASAP..... Turn in is just as good, grip (to me) is even better on the road - OK they won't beat the RE050's on the track, but on the road - not a lot to touch 'em IMHO........
