School Sports Hall Accident In Kent: Ten Children On Isle Of Sheppey Hurt | UK News | Sky News

Had a call earlier today from my sister (that was a shock in itself!) to ask if I'd heard about the story above.

She was ringing to say that my niece was okay, although one of her friends had been hurt - fortunately we have just heard she has 'only' suffered a broken arm.

It sounds as if there are three or four poorly children, one being airlifted to hospital.

Our thoughs and prayers go out to those children & their families x

No - the one place we all assume our kids are safe..................

Someone will have a lot of questions to answer - bring on the H & S Executive. For once I am in favour of H&S!

Scary stuff for us that being a ductwork manufacturer, just goes to show if not fitted correctly to spec what can happen as im sure this will be the cause.

Thanks!

No, we won't be coming to the Scooby Ball - not really our scene all that dressing up (well not in public anyway!!)

Some of the kids were on Sky News saying it always shook and rattled in the wind - so sounds like you're spot on there.
Fortunately it fell between the rows of desks - hate to think if it had landed on them.....
