Default Strange things are afoot!

Today, when downloading and installing drivers from the Hewlett Packard website for my laser printer, everything I typed came out backwards!!
I can't explain what or why it happened and at a total loss as to why!

Example:

!!deknuf yllatot si potpal nmad yM

should read - My damn laptop is totally funked!!

Been having alsorts of problems with my laptop since installing IE8

Have resorted to Firefox, but runs fine for about 1/2hour then it freezes then get an error message to reboot the computer before I can restart Firefox!

Getting totally fed up with the poxy thing now

it wasn't just URL's mate, every application from MS word to forums all came out backwards!! only happened when installing the drivers, when that finished it's righted itself!!

I've been tinkering around with computers since the early 90's and have never seen anything like it before!! just thought I'd share the experience

You need to upgrade your keyboard mate.

PC World have them on offer over Easter but you had better be quick as they are going like hot cross buns.

You want the :- Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 with the YTREWQ key setup.

HP drivers are designed by the devil himself, that explains the backwards writing..

Cool

Paul if you've still got this issue try running a quick check with this stuff CLICKY
It's free and will find lots of nasties you didnt even realise you had
Dazza is more than likely right as Java does cause this issue. The other thing is to remove old versions of Java as these are currently being targeted by Virus Writers as an easier way into your machine.

Tekky bit over
