Default Forza 3

According to recent gossip, one of the lead designers has put together a wish list for cars including:-

Ford Cortina (MK V)

Ford Escort

Ford Escort Cosworth

Ford Escort Mark II

Ford RS200 (1984)

Ford Serria 4×4

Ford Serria Cosworth

Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500

Ford Sierra Cosworth (Sapphire)

Get your £40 ready, this is going to be massive (400 cars and 100 tracks to start with!!!)

Forza 3
You got a release date ?

There is a fix normally associated with the RROD which my brother can send you but if your not confident on opening up the XBOX & diagnosing I can get my brother to have a look at yours if you like

You could try wrapping your 360 in a towel and leaving it on for a couple of hours. Ive heard this can fix it as random as it sounds!

Your on the right track but you need to pull the solder together by putting in some screws pulling the components together before doing the wrapping the towel method. Typically they say between 10-20 mins turned on with towel wrapped round but brother does not like doing it for more than 10 minutes which in most cases works.

Wozza providing your unit is under three years old you can get it repaired free of charge. MS extended all warranties to 3yrs as theyve had so many failures. Do a google and you'll find a gazillion threads with instructions.

Wozza - I found the towel method to only fix it temporarily, so go the microsoft route if you can.

Although I did the x clamp fix over the weekend on my spare xbox and it worked, easy and cheap (£2.99) enough to do yourself.

Back on topic - be great if they do include those blue ovals in FM3, time for some proper drifting

As yet no release date for Forza 3, might not even be this year.

Have just pre-ordered "Race Pro" though.

When Microsoft designed the 360, they chose a slightly unusual way of mounting the heat sinks to the processors. When the console is running, there is a tremendous amount of heat build up inside the case This causes the motherboard to flex against the X-Clamp support which in turn can cause the soldered joints on the processors to come away from the motherboard itself.

This results in the Red Lights of death. Due to the inefficient design of the heat sink clamping method, this is a very large problem. Although Microsoft haven’t (as of yet) come up with a decent design fix.

On the latest ‘Elite’ versions of the console they have used epoxy resin to ‘glue’ the corners of the processors down to stop the flexing that causes this error. Whether their fix will stand the test of time remains to be seen.

i've got an external fan adaptor which seems to work well enough.

it makes a bit of a din sometimes but at least i can still shoot our yankee counterparts!!!

can be switched off manually for movies, or thermostatically for heavy sessions!!

Boro, let me know what cars you need and I can send them to you, I had to buy many from the auction house as you cant unlock them due to region locks

a total of 350 car allowed in your garage at anyone time

i had to send Baz a load of mine to look after to make room. I have sent him all my porshe race cars so he can get his ach'ments but i still own every other car for now.

other note: you dont need to have the DLC cars as these dont affect the achivements, they'll just take up room
