BMW E30 M3 Forza2 Challenge....
Righto folks,
Seeing as there are some reasonably high standards of FWD "D" class cars at the moment, i thought i would suggest something a little more demanding.
I present to you, the BMW E30 Race Series:-
Please get your race number on the side and gamertag on the back/side too (gift me your car and i can do this if any probs, and gift it back)
Qualifying car must have 700 or less P.I. and racing slick tyres (any make / size)
Cars MUST be prepared and tuned by the racer (honesty here please!!!)
Traction control is OFF
Stability is OFF
Collisions are OFF !!!!
Challenge will be 3 heats each of the following tracks:
1: Laguna Seca (5 laps)
2: Mugello Short (5 laps)
3: Tsukuba Circuit (5 laps)
4: Maple Valley Short (4 laps)
5: Sunset Infield (4 laps)
6: Nurburgring (1 lap)
Points will awarded as follows:
1st 3 points
2nd 2 points
3rd 1 point
You have a week to get a car prepared / stickered and tuned for the first heat "Laguna Seca" (3 races) - would be good to have your gamertag on back and side of the car somewhere
we might have a vote for the best looking/funniest car too as an aside!!
Prize will be an official announcement on here and Computer Related Section!!

Great idea Dazza.
Does depend on when though, i.e. it cant clash with Corrie or Eastenders (Tracey has the remote then
) or too late at night, I cant be doing with 3:00am racing.
I, personally, think collisions should be on to add to the realism. With maybe points deductions for deliberate take outs.

ok folks, just been in conflab with brian and we'll go for fastest race time instead. otherwise the points system will fail unless we all compete together.
and the "shortcut" penalty system will also count here!!!
so all i really need is maybe brian to organise the wednesday heat and i'll do a friday one. but all competitors, must declare "ok this is the race", none of that "oh let's start again".. blah blah blah!!!
there are a few heats and i'd expect a few "offs" but on balance should make a close competition !!!
it might transpire that we can all do wednesday instead!!!
