Default MONDEO ST220 WANTED

MUST be in performance blue, and MUST have 6 speed gearbox.

Anyone know of one going, up to £5k or a possible PX with my scoob.

Dont realy want to get rid of scoob, but it is now a little too small for what i need.

If you need more space, what about a wagon or a Forrester

i reckon it'll take you a while if you want the blue. most popular colour for new owners. nice cars, wouldn't mind one myself.

Wagon got the same amount of space for the driver, so not good.

Have always said that the ST220 is a great car, comfort and drivability is in my opinion far better than the bumps and bashes from my scoob.

Never actually thought of a forester, but if i was going to get a big car like that, i would get the BMW X5

wouldn't put the size of the forrester in the same size league as the x5. more the size of the x3 mate. nice a roomy and the ride will be more like the modeo than the impreza. plus it'll still go like stink.

Whats going on here with all this talk of fords, ive had many in the past XR & RS Escorts V6 Mondeos XR,RS & ST Fiestas and a Focus ST and all were so boring to drive except the 3 mk2's that is,maybe its time to go back to the "old skool" still cant beat the scoob to drive though

Peza the Forrester S turbo is a great all rounder as I can vouch
But it's nowhere near the size of an X5. It's more of an between car, taller than the car but smaller in height than a 4x4. Also the ride is much softer than my Mum's Classic Scoob

With a few sensible mods this can easily reach 280bhp which is plenty for around town

I thought the same, but Ford don't do anything bigger (carwise) than a Mondeo now ..... Not like the days of the Granada/Scorpio.

How true is that

The Forester without doubt is a great family car. If Mr Stephens can sit his chiselled figure comfortably then I cant see any reason why you shouldnt. The car has bags of space and I wouldnt be swapping it for a Fix or Repair Daily model ever

I have always loved the mondeo's, and especially liked the ST220, was going to get one before the scoob came along, ive now had my fun and want back into what i love and adore, MONDEO all the way!

So many more things inside the ford's compared to the scooby, electric HEATED seats, trip computer etc, and above all COMFORT.

Whenever i take the Mrs out in scoob, she feels sick after 30 mins, maybe its the bumpy ride, maybe its my driving? who knows! lol

The heated seats in Supercue's Forester work very well and very comfy too -even with his driving
Perhaps the Mrs just doesn't like your driving
