FOR SALE: Covercraft Newage Car Cover
Hi Guys,
I have a Covercraft Weathershield Cover that I no longer require due to selling the car. It is their top of the range outdoor cover as recommended by Polished Bliss. It is tailored to fit a Newage with STI spoiler.
The cover is really good quality and has done a fantastic job of protecting my cars paintwork. It has only been on the car 6 times so is in very good condition. There are a couple of very faint water marks, and also some marks where the cover touches the tyres but again only faint.
All original accessories are include:
- Tie down rope, to stop you losing it in the wind.
- Cable and Padlock, to stop people pinching it.
- Storage Bag.
Cost me £360. I'm looking for £200, no offers. I can bring it to the Lodge meet this Thursday if anybody's interested.
Thanks
Martin

That reminds me of trying to clean it on the washing line. Would make a great kite!
Not sure it comes with enough string though.

is this the next fad? if it is he'll have 6 by the end of next week
personally don't believe in them due to inflicting marks on the paint. unless the car is spotless before you put it on and store the cover in such a way that it doesn't get contaminated, it will mark. not so much of a problem if the car is stored in a garage with the cover on.

Matt,
I shared your concerns, hence buying the best cover I could find after seeking advice from Polished Bliss.
I never put the cover on a dirty car, and always gave the cover a quick clean before storing it in it's bag. The car was immaculate when I sold it, with no evidence at all of marks from the cover. And I am very fussy about my paint.
I think the fitted nature of the cover prevents it moving around, minimising any potential marking. It's certainly better than leaving Bird s**t on the roof whilst on a 2 week holiday.

We had Mrs Spec'C's sport bonnet painted while on holiday a few years ago and the car was returned to the driveway, when returning a lovely Birdsh*t was waiting for us on the bonnet, Had to be returned for polishing out.

Just quickly to resurrect this thread ...
I Finally made time today , Well there was little wind To wash & get a coat of swissol wax on the car & to get the new cover out of it's box & on the car
Well to say I'm chuffed to bits with it would be an understatement
I Have purchased a few great mods for my scoob since 2001 but this one has to be up there in among st my top 3 !!
It's a wicked fit & a wicked material , Surprisingly even with all my bolt on tat it covers 99.9% of the car & fits as snug as a bug in a rug
Top seller Martin
Thank you very much

Great news Tiny. I was a little concerned how well it would fit with all the extras you've got.
You'll love it even more when you take the cover off and the car's still clean and shiny!
Cheers,
Martin
