Default A quick thank you...

Just got back from a short visit to the Surrey Rolling road...
met up with Jolly Green Monster (Simon), who checked over the mapping on the car now i've replaced the headers.

At last i have a power the power figures that i expected...

339Whp
427Bhp
415FtLb

Possibly a little more to come, but i felt that was enough....

Ken Block has 530bhp.

Dont read into US figures, UK horses are much bigger than US ponies.

Great results Mike, what boost was that made on and what fuel?

Yikes - 427-415

That would have been "good" at Donnington in the snow, or Knockhill in the monsoon

I would have loved it... she feels so planted at the moment and with that sort of power, you can feel it drift as you power through the bends... I like the M3, but this feels like an extension of my lims when i drive.. not comfortable etc. but heel and toe and all that good stuff.. feed back through the wheel and my **** is just great!!!

just see if i get any takers for her now.... on eBay & PH

Thats a cracking result Mike on a lowly 1.6 bar boost.

Thats pretty rich too sitting in the 10s. So possibly even more to come if you took some fuel out to the low 11s.

Not bad for what was a double quick engine build eh...

As said, think there was more to come, but didn't want to spend to much time and effort on it at the moment. Plus the slightly richer run, does offer some cooling and protection, but not to much as to see a black bumper constantly!

Certainly not bad for a double time build and clearly there must have been some great work done on the heads!!

I can appreciate you not wanting to compete Mike as the sheer cost is astronomical.
But i think it would be a shame to get rid of the car as you finally have it just how you want it. So much time and effort has been put into it, would be a shame to see it go.

Besides, i wanna have a go with her new horses

As Mike has said, turned out to be loony tunes expensive this year, and especially as the car did not run well.

Not sure if it would fit comfortably into a Sprint class, but it is now running well? (Best we don't drunkenly make any plans )
