Default What a day!

There I was, driving the car steadily (honest ) when I noticed the temperature was higher than normal, carried on plodding for a few hundred yards, and the next thing I know, there's steam pouring from the drivers side front corner of the bonnet I pulled over, popped the bonnet and was greeted with tons of steam, and coolant everywhere.
I was lucky enough to have a mate 20 minutes away with a tow rope, and one quick tow later, found the plastic side bottle had a dirty great crack in it.
After several phone calls, I found that Suburu wanted £260 for a rad on exchange, all the way down to Motex in Chelmsford who wanted £90 plus the dreaded.
The item arrived within a couple of hours, and fortunately the scoob does nt seem to be as hard to work on as I feared.
Within an hour and a bit, the old rad was out, and stripped down, and the new one was in.
So far so good, the car seems ok, and most importantly is nt showing any side effects. Thanks god for that!!

^ OEM Classic rads are pretty common for splitting the plastic ends tanks.

I have an ally one after mine went.
