Default Any one had probs with Flat4?

I have a P1 that blew up on the rollers I stripped the engine down and found the faults. I was looking on the net and came across flat 4 so ordered head gaskets, rocker cover gaskets and oil pump! It took 3 weeks for the item to arrive and the head gaskets were wrong and also no oil pump. Tried to phone and got no reply so emailed about two days later I received a reply saying sorry and he will sort it. 3 days later the right head gaskets arrive but still no oil pump. Iv'e tried to email and ring again but no reply I threatened with court action but still no reply so I am at a loose end what to do. The car is still on my ramp with no oil pump so I cant build the engine and iv'e had no offer of a refund or no oil pump all in all im not a happy bunny

Could you not just cancel and get one from rcm?

I assume this was an online or telephone order, therefore your credit card should cover you for this.
As speccy, cancel the order and buy it direct from RCM

I bought a 2.5 block, ARP head studs, Cometic 3 layer stainless steel gaskets and a breather kit from flat4 with no problems, mind you, that was 2years ago!

As mentioned, have heard quite a few problems from them now

Credit card company will not refund as he said he would send it out but that is 3-4 weeks overdue. I use zen or rcm most of the time ill think ill stick to them from now on!

if you can stump up the cash, get a RCM oil pump and sell the one you are waiting for (when it does arrive)
you'll get 95% of your money back , im sure and you'll be on the road!!!

think flat4 just got too busy to quick unfortunately
