Welcome mate,

Tyres are personal opinion really mate, I like Toyo’s myself. I have their new PX4’s but I’ve heard the T1R’s are good too.

I used to use T1S's, and when I changed to T1R's, noticed there was more roll in corners on track than the T1S's .

A few others have also noticed the same thing.

For choice will depend a bit on where and how you use the car.

For normal all year round spirited road use, Vredestein Sportrac3 or Goodyear F1 GSD3 would probably be the best option.

For a higher performance / summer tyre Bridgestone RE070's, Vredestein Utrac, Yokohama Prada2, or even Toyo R888

Sorry Nate, but I would never use the Toyo T1S or R's, after using a decent tyre you realise these are very average.

Depends how and where you drive. For all year round ability and mostly road use I would go with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric. Available for less than £100 per corner.

I would avoid Toyos and Goodyear F1 GSD3's having tried both. Not tried the Vredestein's so can't comment on these.

If you plan on some track time a set of cheap 17's with RE070 or 888's would be nice.

NOT T1R's till you've lost at least half the tread.....
NOT Prada's unless you do dry driving only...

I liked the Goodyear F1's and have heard onyl good things avbout the Verds...

That said, it will depend on your car and how it's set up. the T1R's for example are quite capable and possibly on a standard car you wouldn't feel the tread roll/movement. but if the car is tuned in anyway then you will for sure feel the movement.

All IMHO of course.... And no i don't drive like miss daisy

Freddy Stains

Sessantas on the new age, excellent tyre

T1R's on the Classic, don't mind them tbh. I bought them for £66 a corner for my cheap play tyres and they came as standard on the wheel and tyre deal I had on my other wheels. They handle speed and corners well in wet and dry although so does my classic not sure I would want these on the new age ?

Zak can now supply classic fitment of the sessantas so will be going back to these for my renewals.
