Hi mate, welcome to the club. I have not seen your car around? I also live in Rayleigh, I do know of a “friendly” garage that if your car is spotless you will pass on the emissions but will cost you the price of a new MOT.

If you want to go back to where it failed for a free retest I have a standard down pipe with cat that was on my classic when I bought it that you can have for FREE if you want it? It is only sitting here taking up space. PM me if you want it.
