PC on fire HELP!
Leaving for the Army at 12 and thought Id save some "movies" for whilst I was away
Plugged in my external USB drive into the back of the main PC and BANG!!!!
Flames and everything....
Looks like I've touched the power USB connector to the metal PC box, then BOOM.
Checked fuse on power lead but I think it blew inside
Is there anything I can do to solve this quickly before I go away?
Would it be the motherboard or PSU or both? Could it have fried the HD? (including all the family pics!!)
HELP please

is it an HP pc?? just a thought as i've seen this happen before and yes it was due to shorting out the usb on the chassis.
looks like possibly the psu and motherboard (at a quick guess)
i'm sure the Hard drive will be fine mate, it's very rare for one of them to go **** up due to power (surge or failure).
leave it till you get back mate and dont worry (unplug it though)
