Gimp for hire
Wouldn't normally open up but desprite times mean desprate measures.
For some time time i've been unhappy at work & although I was offered another job just after xmas last year I was hook lined to stay.
After another terrible couple of weeks I want out.
Don't get me wrong I love what I do but when I'm lying wide awake at 3am thinking about work somethings wrong.
I came close today in clumping some one which is not good.(No it wasn't Wongy )
So although I will be looking for another job ASAP my question is does any body know or are looking for some one to use & abuse, as all I want to do is tell my employer I won't be coming back.
Let the abuse commence

I know exactly how you feel Wozzaa, I was in the same position at Calor, I loved the job, I was moody all the time, had many sleepless nights thinking about the job, worried about job completion times and so on. I'll also add that Betts and I had our moments, but on the whole, we worked well as a team. When I tried ordering parts to do maintenance work, they usually got forgotten about, so got flack from supervisors that jobs weren't being done, and was being pushed from pillar to post doing everything from driving forklifts to HGV's, maintenance to pumphouse duties. And to top it off, I was a health and Safety officer and had to do workplace inspections, when I filed reports that something was wrong, they were never acted on. The site has 5 main gas storage tanks, each capable of holding 65 tons of gas, and with rotting pipework, it's not a good combination, there just wasn't the urgency there to correct these sorts of problems, so after the explosion at BP, I couldn't take anymore.
When the job came up, I applied for it, and the production director called me 5 times to go in for an interview, I was wondering if I was making the right decision, and was still wondering everyday until I finished the 1st week at sharpfibre, but now I can honestly say that I made the right decision as my new job has more responsabilities, though I'm not stressed anymore, I look forward to going into work and go home with a smile on my face again. The directors are happy with my work because I save them money and set up new accounts with suppliers and because I'm authorised to purchase stock, and I'm able to buy in bulk, I can haggle discounts.
As I said, you're in the same position I was in, it feels like your in a big hole and don't know how to get out of it, but there IS light at the end of the tunnel mate.
try reed.co.uk – jobs, careers, employment and recruitment, or monster jobs, both are very good mate.
This is what my company does if anyone is interested:
