can some one confirm if a 97 type r ecu will fit a 96 type ra ecu. the 96 type ra has the coil pack in the middle of the manifold if that helps. or is there any other way to find out besides going to the ecu as i have never done it. cheers

I'm 80% sure that the ECU won't work as the '97 is a facelft, best give Zak @ Mocom Racing a call to confirm, details at the top of the page

You may be in luck mate.

Easiest thing to do is to lift the passenger footwell carpet and remove the cover to check the ECU plugs, it only takes 10 mins
