Anyone heard of SVA Solutions?
Hi there..
Im looking for a place to get my car collected, prepared , SVA'd etc .. and came across SVA Solutions in essex...
was wondering if any of you guys heard or dealt with them and would be able to offer any personal feedback?
Essex is actually quite some distance from me so really dont want to go the distance to find out they not so good...
thanks

I don't know of anyone who has imported a car themselves and had to go through SVA.
I'm building a kitcar (as and when time allows) which has to pass the same test (Single Vehicle Approval) when you have the SVA done, get the MOT done at the same time.
Can't the guys prepping your car recommend a testing station? as a general rule the test is done at a commercial MOT station
Pretty much the only real thing a car will fail on is not having a rear foglight, which must be placed on the off side of the vehicle is only one is used.
Contactable surfaces are another biggy, but in a mass produced car, this won't be a problem.
Tyres are also checked, as they must be speed rated.

thanks for the replies fellas...
the car is being shipped over to UK myself, just wanted some to take over from there and get it legally on the road. its too much hassle and confusion to do myself and they garuntee a 'pass'
they seem to be the only site i can find that advertise for personal import as oppose to commercial.
cheers
