Any Mountain bikers in the ESC?
Just wondering if there are any mountain bikers in the ESC.
Me and a few other friends have got bikes and we have been having some great fun out on-road and off-road on some trails and free-riding tracks.
Just got myself a new Marin mountain bike too.
Great fun.....even if I did fracture a couple of ribs on the last outing! Hasn't put me off though

Ste i've got a Rocky Mountain Element 70 and am out on it all the time. Including a couple of trips to North Wales a year. Amazing place which puts this area to shame a fair old bit. We even manged to cycle to the summit of Snowdon this April
Worth geetin up to Thetford forest, thats really the best tracks in this area, we had fun ealier in the summer riding the nationals course the day after the Pro's had been round

I'd be up for a ride Fozzy
I used to ride everywhere but now, since I've moved out, I can't get my bike in the car so it's still at my parents. Sure I could borrow my Dad's car for the day!
Kev Beale has a bike and as Paul said above, so has Bett's.

I've been riding for years. Would be more than happy to guide people around the trails in the Danbury area.
Currently riding an Orange 223 in hilly places and an Orange 5 in Essex!

I used to run the cycling team at uni and we would ride the bikes through the house to get to the workshop in the cellar. That was guaranteed to upset the non biking housemates!
Currently thinking of stripping the rear seats out so that I can get 2 bikes in bike bags in the back. I've lost bikes from racks on the A12 before, so don't fancy another strap on bike rack.
I've also drawn up plans for a rack that quick releases from a Tow Bar (just the rear bar minus the towball), but i want the metalwork on the car to be invisible when the racks removed. Needs a bit more measuring before I get the welder out!
