Default ESC Photoshoot (Sun 23/09) 10.00am

Guys, if anyone wants some pics of their cars, i will be about on Sunday morning 10am for a couple of hours.

Depending on numbers, we'll need to find suitable locations.

pls add your name to the list.

i'm guessing we'll meet somewhere like Gloucester Park (Basildon) and head out from there.

Obviously weather permitting!!!

I think we could blat about the industrial estates and get some motion shots!!!

i look forward to any suggestions:-

Add you name to the list below if you are interested....

I'm thinking £2.00 for a data DVD (hi res pics 3mb per file!!!) "ALL" money to Essex Air Ambulance.

Don't focus on the paintwork, pick a detail out and work with that...Headlight, indicator etc..Work with the 2/3rds rule for depth of focus.

Not rule of thirds, depth of focus, 2 different things

Basically the depth of focus extends 2 times forward to 1 time backwards. Therefore by using the correct apature you can get the whole car in focus by focusing 1/3rd into it. Rough example:

Focus on something 10 feet away, if you had enough depth of field to allow everything from the 10ft to 20ft to stay in focus you would actually have everything from 5ft to 20ft...As depth of field (DOF) works backwards as well as forwards...Confused

If you have one use the DOF preview button
