Must admit i'm thinking long and hard about next year.....
I know the other competitors will up their game, but the experience of this year wil enable me to improve...
All year i was able to push harder and eek a little more from the car. So i know i've improved and of course there is still more improvements to be made by me.....
I've also learnt a lot about the car and the setup which will allow for improvements. tyre choice will be critical for next year to gain extra grip (i would love to be able to do a back to back test with the Toyo's and the Silverstones i ran this year).
We also were still short of the 2.0bar boost which will allow a little more top end power.
But the bottom line comes down to budget.... this year ended up being a very big budget, way more than i expected, the entry fee was a small fortune on it's own and then havign to buy 2 sets of tyres is not cheap!
BUT other costs that i had wouldn't and shouldn't be needed for next year....
Time for some reflective thoughts

After reading your PM last week , You sounded 50/50 As to wether or not you would enter the TA In 2008 , I Certainly hope that you do as im sure 99% Of the other ESC Members do to ..
As i mentioned earlier , We have just a little plan to help raise you a few quid for next years event , It also involves other ESC Members who would like to take part & help YOU in the meantime , Like i say it's not going to be much
" But every little helps "
More details later this week

You should always treat year 1 as a learning experience, year 2 get a few wins and year 3 world domination
Its easy for us to say as its not our budget but this has always been your dream and you've shown you've got what it takes. The car has let you down rather than you reaching the limit of your ability, I say go for it mate.

I was told there was no space to compete as they had 36 down to do it. Then it transpires that there were only 29 out there ... grrrrrr
I have to admit that I was so pissed at not running I couldnt face being there supporting - it would only have made me miss it too much.
2008 - I will be running in it Mike. I am sure that some will up the power game but power is nothing without something else Hopefully TA will get more strict on who is pro and who isnt to make it fairer too.

The MST timing website suggests i was losing it all in Paddock Hill bend, my ***** werent big enough it would seem
Both Matt Clark and i suggested a can as an insert as an all else fails option.
I finally managed to to use the power the car has on the straights to some good use round the corners too, being in the top few all day was a nice end to a difficult race series.
Well done to Mike once again, i am just sorry i could not help anymore on the day.

Well done mate!!! you had more than your fair share of problems this season and deserved a good result at Brands!
We tried the can, but had issues in the 2nd practice, but it did get me home.
For the final we stole a whole induction section from one of the ESC cars (BIBO), but sadly the section was a little smaller and i think over the length of it, was enough to upset the map when on full boost and torque in 5th gear. At least i hope thats the problem, else more damage has been done when the pipe let go....
