I was up in the Lakes 3 weeks ago - it's looking great up there, I just love the area (plus Yorkshire Dales and Moors)
Whereabouts are you staying?

That's nice - Wordsworth area (sea of golden daffodils and all that!) I stayed in a B&B almost opposite the road that goes up to his cottage a few years ago. I now usually go on to Buttermere and stay at the Fish hotel - well recommended. All those Wainwright walks if you're that keen (I did Haystacks this year)
Take a look -

You'll have a great time no matter what the weather is like. Make sure you do some walking, the views make it all worth while.

If you don't take a good picture there then you should bin the camera

I took these last time...

Hope you have a nice time Dazza and Helene. And don't forget to buy some Kendal mint cake for energy.

Nice pics, you can almost hear the water running over the rocks.

Waterproofs are the order of the day. You can see why Jess doesn't do "Wet" anymore.

Whereas Misty was the opposite. Any chance to get in water & she would take it.

Bracken posing while taking a quick rest on the way up to Helvellyn.
