Your not wrong, they seem to forget that the Impreza was designed and built following the Success of the Legacy in Rallying around the world
, most of the rallying greats drove Legacy's at some stage in their career

Exactly, they realised they could build a better and faster car than the Legacy so they built the Impreza!
