ESC Forza Competition:-
OK peeps, following on from Dave's Idea....
The challenge is on:
Round One:
Focus ST challenge
Buy a car from Ford in the US of A, and tweak it to a max of 600 PI.
This should allow sufficient scope for a bit of tuning!!!
Track will be the Laguna Seca (15 laps)
Collisions will be on...
Damage will be Cosmetic only.
Give the car a unique paint job and try and add your name on it somewhere!!!!
The proposed date and time for the challenge is as follows:
Wednesday the 18th at 9.00pm
this will give you a change to get the car ready and "dialled in"
add your name to the gamertag to the list below and i will invite you all 5 mins before time!!!
Dazza.

Whats it connected to? PC or router?
Probably something in simple in the LAN settings, may be worth starting from the start again.

if you cant change these settings then there could be a problem with the wireless adapter on the back of the xbox.

on the xbox dsahbox and the settings page you should see a section at the bottom where you can set the PPPoe and network key etc etc that your router requires for authentication

Chris, check that your router is allowing wireless activity. you may have the router security set to allow "mac Addresses" Only.

Thanks John but I think that's ok
DHCP is on and a range of 8 addresses are available, I have allowed the mac address also. The one thing that troubles me is that the x-box isn't showing up in my lan>dhcp list? That's got to be the issue I'd have thought
