* Mascot - everyone needs to bring a mascot with them on the day, this can be anything you like, not necessarily a cuddly toy (please keep it clean, it is a family event after all!) and each team will take a different mascot with them on the 'hunt'
* Walkie Talkies – so you can banter when you pass a fellow treasure hunter


On the day you will be supplied with a list of ‘tasks’ to do within the time limit. There will be around 10 ‘compulsory’ tasks to complete and some others you can do if you have time. On each ‘task’ you will need to take a photographer of yourself and your mascot (or if you are on your own, a photo of your mascot) at the relevant place e.g. outside a McDonalds. A couple of the tasks will involve having your car in the photo, but this will be made clear on the task list.

Whilst one of us may be back at The Lodge before all the other teams, to ensure we can see who made it back first, there is a clock by the bar in the pub – you will need to take a photo of yourself / your mascot by the clock to show your finishing time.

Everyone should aim to get back to The Lodge for 2.00pm, whether you have completed you’re your tasks or not (teams should not arrive before 1.45pm and not after 2.15pm or they will be disqualified….makes it more fun then hehe).

The winning team will be the one who has completed the highest number of the ‘compulsory’ tasks – if there are any teams who have completed all of them, then we will look to see who has completed any number of the non-compulsory tasks to find the winner.

Wozza is bringing his laptop, so if you have a cable to connect your camera into the laptop, we can look at everyone’s pictures that way (if not it will have to be on the camera).

Whilst this is an ESC event, its all just a bit of fun, so if you have any friends or family who want to join in, non-scoobs will be welcome.
