We controlled 90% of the game, but created hardly any decent scoring chances.
Raffa got his tactics right but by flooding the midfield and denying then space we never got enough people into the box when Pennant and Zenden got the ball across.
Wholesale changes coming for next season, with quality down the flanks and a decent stricker or two along with Raffa's tactical knowledge, things are certainly looking up

What did we achieve this season.. more fans in Europe for a start off We lost to a fluke goal but he ho thats football. Unlike the Mancs we we were not destroyed. Unlike Chelski we were there
Tactics were right but we have been lacking a quality goal scorer for years and last night was no different. At last Rafa will be given the funds to make some serious improvements.
Rafa may not have the Premiership sorted but when he does you just know it will be consistant just like Europe.

Where were Liverpool in the FA cup then? Didn't see them?
In all honestly mate, it's a pity Liverpool didn't win, would have been nice to see a UK team bring home the cup.

Personally I wish Rafa had removed Alonso and started with Stevie G in the middle with Crouch and Kuyt up front. Steve Gerrard is an absolute menace when he is able to charge in from midfield and adds so much more to the play.
Nothing to do but twiddle thumbs till August lol
