Should I change to 17's?
I went to look at an Impreza last night that was being broke for parts and I'm interested in a set of 17" Speedline (Corse I think) in Silver.
I used to have a set of 17" Speedlines and was very happy with them.
Since changing to 18's I love the look but I'm not so impressed with the handling.
Any advice.....?
P.S. I nearly walked away with the wheels, a set of AP brakes and Leda coilovers!!!!!!

your choice mate, you'll be driving it.
i personally thought my car drove better with 16's, less trammy, and more forgiving, but you get used to it all after a while. and i needed new tyres, so for aesthetic purposes i went for 17"s.
My car is, however double low, so they look more like 18's under the arches.
not much help im afraid

Agreed!
had to change the wagon from 16" to 17" to allow the Brembo's to be fitted, took some time to get used to the 17's, tramlining, etc.
News scoob has 18's, and they are much worse, picking up a set of 17's for it this pm!

No mate, have not even tried yet, quiet nice having his and hers scoobs
But do need to get on with selling it, if only to pay for the work Zak is about to do on the new one
Not sure whether to return to standard, or sell as is. Also had just bought a complete set of leather interior for it, again not sure whether to fit or just sell on?
