Default Decisions Decisions.

Ok guys, I know it is my own choice in the end but always appreciate a knowledgeable view:

Looking at several types of scoobs and not sure which way to go, choices are:

02 JDM STi with mods

02 Bugeye STi Prodrive Style - Standard

looking forward to your opinions.

Cheers
David

JDM would be my choice, depending on the mods though.

Sometimes a standard car is a nice blank canvas to start with.

David,

Personally I'd save some money and buy a sorted MY00 Wagon

Failing that, it has to be the JDM, as long as the mods are good.

Has the Astra gone?

Mods on the JDM are AST coilovers, miltek exhaust system, tek 3 remap plus some other bits,

That is where my preference is also. Always nice to know what others believe.

Neil - Astra should be going this week.

Under most circumstances id scream JDM....

However,

Id go with the Prodrive for a few reasons.

The 02 JDMs were nowhere near as good as the 03 onwards JDMs. Theyre still single scroll like the UK cars. Only the 03 onwards JDMs are twinscroll. They may have slightly better heads and a slightly high rev limit than that of the UK cars however i feel theyre a long way off the 03+ JDMs.

Also and only IMO the Prodrive is a much much better looking car. If the choice was an 03+ JDM then it would be a no brainer however in this case id prefer to buy the Prodrive.

Just my thoughts
