Default Zak - Wot a good geezer!!

Took my car to Zak this week for a 40k service (first time I had ever met him) and last night (Sat) I zapped round the M25 to Woking to see some friends and I can't remember the car EVER going so smoothly! - had this current WRX for over 2½yrs and it's always drove the same........

He found that the internal electrical thingy was wrong and it had set itself at 11 instead of the 16 it was suppose to be (so I guess I was actually driving around ¼ down on power and didn't know it) and once he reset that - smooth acceleration! - Didn't know what I was missing till he did that.....

Cruising on the M25 last night at "reasonable" speeds it was smooth, stress free and actually accellerated in 5th gear at those speeds rather than me having to change to 4th as I used to have to do.

Can't wait to get the suspension sorted next month.......

Definately the man to go to........

How many people would check the ecu during a 40K service?

More importantly, how many would actually understand what they see if they did

Best give him a ring as I guess the price will depend on the model.
