Default FAO Nevetas...the car king

Alright fella, hope things are well...

I've been offered an 98 (S reg methinks) EVO E36 BMW M3 for my Subaru....

What are they like etc? I only ask as you're the only guy I know who's probably had one...or two....or three....

Or does anyone else have any light on this subject?

Many many thanks

Good car but make sure the Vanos (sp) has been done. Aren't they only worth £6-£7k nowadays though???

Very nice mate, I'd swap if I was you. Then bring it round so I can see it!

ha ha ha ha

He wants my skyline now....i've told him flat no because he'd do something crazy like put it into a wall!

I keep telling him it's N-O-T-H-I-N-G like the handling of the Subaru

Now he still wants a back-box and an ECU and an APEXI FC at that!!

Why oh why did I introduce him to the Subaru world.....

Are they limited then the EVO's? I thought thye were 321 bhp out the box?

I think they did a limited edition.... GT I think it was, which wasn't limited, and could manage 170. but as far as I'm aware the EVO was still limited.

Let him take the skyline for a spin... I'm sure he'll love it mate, probably won't give the keys back to you....

So he's hooked on the car modding

Oh he will love it....then the drift diff will kick in and it'll be, "Son, I had a slight accident.......involving me, your car and a well built wall....."

He's definately got the bug......

First of all it was the back box which I was going to treat him to from H&S.....
then he's worried about it blowing up so he's convinced himself he needs an ECU......I told him to go for a piggy back as he said he didn't want to go crazy.....then a buddy of mine told him he could get apexi fc's for £350 fitted and mapped.....and also mentioned that he should get the exhaust and then the ecu.....

Watch out ESC....the legacy man is coming.....now all he needs is a pink shirt....

Not the commander, I think thats an extra £50 squids.

I'll speak to the bloke and see if the deal is still avialiable........if not then it could be £550 for the unit, commander and fitted...just no map.....
