Hope so

I had a new gearbox fitted today but when im on full lock it feels like the brakes are on but there not I think the diff's are fcuked in the box what do u reckon guys?

The bloke at the subaru garage said it becuase my rear tires are nackard and a scooby has to have all the tirers at roughly the same tred otherwise the diffs dont work proper

I think the bloke just didnt wanna do the work again what do u think??

Cheers,

Jim

I had 2 new gear boxes from Wilsons fitted ,the first one kept popping out of gear and the next one they hadnt tighened the bolts on and i was having simular probs as you ,though mine had a slight vibration. When i took it back it had nearly completly come back out .They were nice about it though ,they said if id of gone over 90 and it broke lose id of been dead NICE .... so please be careful .

to a certain extend, tyre condition can play a part, due to the different rolling circumference of the wheel, ie the larger the wheel, the further it will travel in one revolution, but realistically, it shouldn't make much of a difference.

I'd drop the oil out of the gearbox and diff and put fresh oil in, using somethin like Millers TRX. about 4.5 litres for the gear box and 0.7 litres for the diff.

mine kept jumping out of gear, and felt horrible to change gear, but when I done the oils, it felt like a new car

Did you fit a p1 gearbox? Have you got the right gear ratios from front to rear diff? The p1 ratios were differant!!
