His speed over the line at TOTB was just over 171mph when he had to back off cos his manifold split. His 9.19s was done at 158mph - just imagine how far into the 8's he would have been if all went well
It's more about "luck of the draw" than anything else, everything has to be absolutely perfect on the day - sure he will get there very soon
Give you something to aim at Frayz

Stop moaning you silly a4se!! Your car is absolutely gorgeous!!!
When you first brought it to a meet, I was soooo jealous, really wish I had got the STi7 instead of the WRX!! Should have bought a second hand STi instead of a brand spanking "pretender".
Your car is ready to rock and roll staight out of the box, my chocolate internals would melt with anything bigger than a 16G, and it's already eaten a gearbox - even though I drive like Miss Daisy!!!
I know the Cossie felt faster and probably was faster, they still look and sound great but at the end of the day I'd rather have a 4 year old, heavy, pretty fast Jap car, than a 14 year old light fast car that invented the term "chav".
Cossies are fantastic cars, but I bought a Scoob for a reason!! and so did you big boy

You can't be serious about getting stickers?!?! You must be coming down with something
Or maybe a massive Nurburgring sticker in white/black over the bonnet??? Now that would look cool on a perspex bonnet!!!
On a call-out at work and can't see any pictures on this PC, but will look when I get up tomorrow, photo shopped effort or real deal bonnet??
I'm having a major think about finally getting that 16G, injectors and fuel pump on at the moment, just need to save for a remap - or I could ask Uncle John how much he can get teflon coated JE pistons, Eagle rods, STi9 nitrided crank (with extra oil ways), STi3 or 5 polished and ported heads, ported throttle body, EJ22 closed deck block and a nice BIG turbo - then again, I might just wake up and smell the empty piggy bank
