Default Missing wheel nuts

Washed and detailed the car on saturday (so it's looking all bufty ) all wheel nuts present and correct. Looked out the kitchen window at the car last night and 2 of the front offside wheel nuts weere missing. one of which is the locking nut .

not had the wheels off the front for months so it's not a case that i've had the wheels off a few days ago and forgotten to do them up properly. so a trip to halfrauds on the way home tonight to get some more locking nuts.

that's what i was thinking. a couple of the nuts were loose on the other side as well.

i've got cctv on the car, but i tape over the previous night unless i notice something wrong with the car. but yesterday i had the camera taping during the day. next door's kids had a few friends round and were out the front playing near the car. thought that if they hit the car with a football or something i'd be able to get them for it. guess i should have put a different tape in.

reason why i've got the camera is because someone tried to nick my rs turbo when i had it. i might start putting a sign in the car at night letting them know they're on camera.

yeah i might get 7 tapes sorted out and use one for each day of the week. that way i'll have a weeks worth to go back over should anything happen.

sign will go in toinght. might have it reading "Smile, you're on Camera. The owner will be out shortly with a large baseball bat and a bad temper!"

Pathetic isn't it, wiper blades indeed is it really too expensive just to buy the bloody things? If you aren't taking the wheels off for a while its worth getting a tyre fitters to machine them tight for you. I put my flaps on last weekend and bugger me the wheels were on tight from the last tyre change in February.

i've got a compressor so i may treat myself to an air gun. would like to see them get them off then. normally though i stand on the brace when doing them up. 16st is a fair bit of weight to do a wheel nut up with but obviously not enough!!

bet they haven't been able to reuse them. sad that someone would want them to dress up their own lesser brand wheels. i'm sure somewhere like halfords sell them for about £3.
