Had a similar situation a few weeks ago with an old beaten up White Mondeo on the A13. As I came to pass it on the outside lane at about 80-ish, I noticed the blue lights start flashing on the rear shelf.....slowed to 70 along side him and noticed the uniformed officer wagging his finger at me with a smile on his face.....Thanks Mr officer!

I had a similar experience on the A130, going to a lodge meet, was doing around 80, over took an old dark blue Rover 600 series and the guy tooted and indicated to keep it down, then I saw it was an unmarked police car!

A130 today police escort to basildon, they like speeding down the long straight off the A12 and then made my behave all the way to H&Scott. You were lucky, nice policeman!
