Default ADVICE PLEASE

ADVICE NEEDED,IM FITTING A BUGEYE INTERCOOLER 2 MY CLASSIC 93.
IVE HAD THE DUMP VALVE HOLE ERASED N COVERD R THERE GONNA B ANY OTHER PROBS......... .............HELP THANXS

i think with these the inlet needs shortening and the brackets need some work too. looking at doing this myself and they seem to be the problems that people come across when i've asked around.

to be honest, you'll need the shorter inlet manifold from a facelift as there isn't much room.

I tried putting on a STI5 I/C and there isn't really enough room, unless you do a lot of fabricating.

The mounting brackets will need modifying as the bugeye I/C is wider.

Don't think it's impossible, but is a lot of work

ive done it................................................ ...
bloody hard though
and i fabricated my own intercooler spray
well im proud of it needs tidying up but it works and it is a very tight fit

nice one mate, I gave up on my conversion and got the front mount instead.

Have to have a butchers at your install though

its in, thats the main thing as my old one was shagged,
photos,well im crap on computers n dnt know how 2 do it,,,but will b at the lodge...
might have to move the pipe work up a bit thats behind the intercooler,it works 4 now with spray curteousy of a vauxhal washerbottle n pump fitted in the left front near light

i wnted frontmount mate but with a full paint job and wrc kit and new clutch 2 pay 4 this will have 2 do.......

ive only managed 2 make one braket today[im knackard],yes i shortend the inlet but on the intercooler,with a bit more time in less heat ill make more room,just takes time

i'll pop over and say hi and have a look at the lodge then. i need more cooling for mine. can't afford the front mount so i think this is the way to go for me. water spray sounds good as well. may just do this to mine for now.

water injection is a good mod too for keeping charge temps down
