my car is having a valet his morning by a company call DAB Restoration apparently they can clean ur car so well it will look like new hopfully they cannot get none of the paint out as i want my respray they gits that covered my car with paint have got these guys to come down and see if they can get the paint off my car fingers crosses that they cant cause the paint is every were

All you have to do is stand firm and say your still not happy with the finish.

If the company that covered your car in cr*p is at fault they really don't have much say in the matter.

Right Pissed off now sorry bout langauge right story so far, people come out to valet my car but they could not get it off on my bonnet vents, door handles, side mirrors, rear bumper, front bumper, side shirts, rear spats. so respray needed as any one painting just them parts with not be able to match the colour of the red it will look patchy and i aint havin that so i told the chap whos sorting this he agreed but he said there is no way he is paying £3500 on a £5000 car and he knows a garage up the road with 3 ovens and he will have it done up there. I dont think so some how there is no way im taking my car to sheffield and he paying some one £700 for a crap respray on my car, calling hotel tomorrow to have a moan and also citizens advise bureau

have you sorted this out with your insurance company?

if not then get intouch with them as you are paying for legal advice in your insurance mate.............they can advise you what to do and also act on your behalf.

yeah ABW said that see if my insurance can pay and get the money off them as there fault but i dont want to lose my claims i got some other tricks i think up my sleeve

you dont need to lose your no claims...

you can get the legal aid from the insurers (i think thats what john means)

you only loose no claims if it was your fault..........do yourself a favour and get intouch with your insurance company and explain to them what has happened.

Iv'e missed something here.
Did you get your car resprayed by some idiots who mucked it up, then they asked this DAB firm to valet to take the resprayed paint off? And now that DAB cannot get the paint off, theywill pay for another respray in Sheffield?

No he parked his car outside a hotel. The outside of the hotel was being painted. They did not cover his car and this has been covered in small white paint drops (ie your arm when using a roller) does not look bad from a distance but up close its covered and you can feel all the small drops.

Car now needs a respray to get it back to any decent state
