so the dp is 3" and the rest of the system is 2.5"? if so you can get the end flange changed to mate to a 2.5" system. although it would be easier to exchange it for the right one. where did you buy it from?

also if you've got a classic impreza, what are you doing with your catted dp?

if no flange (lol - sorry to act like a school boy), how do you bolt it up to the centre section?

if you're selling your catted dp, let me know how much you want for it before sticking it on e-bay.

£25?

if you have no luck with the swap, you could ask someone like hayward and scott to reduce it down to a 2.5" connection. not sure how much that'd cost though.

excellent. ok to pick up at the weekend?

it does give a small restriction if it's coned down to 2.5" but not as bad as if it just comes to a stop and has a flange welded on. my decat dp is open neck at the top then drops to 3" and then to 2.5" near the bottom. unless you're planning on going for big power it should be fine. if you want big power, keep the 3" and get hold of a 3" system to replace the rest.

who'd have thought that 0.5" would make a difference - ooo err

lol. once you've fitted the decat you need to line cornelius' pocket with £60ish and then you'll have huge flames.

if you get the pitishhhh then it's atmospheric. if you can't hear it then it's recirculating.
